Acknowledging Our Important Early Bantonians: Part 2

What up Banto community,

This will be our part two of the early contributor series. From time to time, we will release a list of names to acknowledge the contributions that fellow members of the community have made to the site. These are all people who have supported our site in more ways than one — either through active conversations on our Discord, providing invaluable feedback, creating great content, or even helping us debug. As we grow in our journey, we'd like to take the time to acknowledge these early and important Bantonians:

SRN

Staying committed throughout the process, SRN is practically our third developer and helping hand. In addition to his debugging, at the moment, he is working on his "BetterBanto" extension, which will allow players to play solo games while winning awards (XP + Bantobux). Additionally, it can enable "Dark Mode," automatically quick-sell rarities and duplicates you don't want, and so much more. We can't wait to see what it ends up looking like! SRN has also contributed significantly to the new wiki of Banto (initiated by Editor Prasanna)!

Cerulean

A lot of the new UI you see with Banto was done by Cerulean himself. Not just the Photoshopping, but the coding too, even! He developed "Banto Refreshed," a TamperMonkey user script that allowed users to see his vision of what the Banto site should look like. And it looked great! So much so that we incorporated all of his feedback right back into the platform itself. Now it feels 100x more lively. Additionally, he's created the brand new Zen box you should definitely check out! For the future of Banto, he has also contributed his ideas on what the game engine should look like, so that we can have a better developer experience for future game makers on Banto.

EditorPrasanna

Already, the Banto Fandom wiki has more than 50 pages of information surrounding Banto lore, gamemodes, and everything a beginner needs to know about the platform. This is due to the outstanding leadership of EditorPrasanna, who is responsible for the initiation and management of the wiki. Additionally, his efforts in compiling information are extraordinary. If you want to contribute to this repository of information, please get in touch with him!

Tob & Qwerttui

Alongside Editor Prasanna, the wiki team includes Tob and Qwerttui, who have been compiling information and coding the wiki. They bring a vast amount of knowledge from helping code other Fandoms, and that expertise has undoubtedly carried over to Banto's. For future Bantonians enjoying their wiki reading experience, make sure to thank Tob and Qwerttui for that.

Pig55

Pig55 is responsible for making the best-performing video to date, which helped bring so many new players to Banto. He has served as the first official catalyst in getting people on board the Banto train. Because of him, our Discord is now finally active with continual feedback and iteration alongside a lot more liveliness. If you haven't checked his video out, it's right here: Pig55's Banto Video

ExciteMike

Our very own Alex Trebek, ExciteMike has been one of the--if not the liveliest person in our voice chats and Discord. He is our unofficial official game show host, able to keep the conversation flowing and vibes up as he hosts gamemodes like QuickDraw, HotTakes, etc. He hosted Banto's very first official event, "Banto Battle", with 14 participants (and 500 Bantobux as the prize). He has been with us since the beginning, and we continue to be grateful for that.

Chip

As part of the community, Chip has contributed a lot of valuable feedback, driving conversations within our Discord and providing feedback on updates only minutes after they've been released. He is one of our loyal Bantonians, and we very much enjoy him joining to participate in not just the Discord, but also the Banto wiki as well.

Nathan

Famous for posting his model cars, Nathan has also been very valuable in helping drive and initiate conversations with other Bantonians and has been with us since the beginning. He's definitely a future engineer! If you ever see him joining your game, just know he's one of the OGs.

AlanDaDude

Another true OG who has been with us since the beginning. If you see a welcome message from him, you've been blessed.

Xotic

Also famously known as the creator of Blacket, Xotic helped add to Pig55 video's momentum when he pasted the link to Banto and our Discord in the Blacket channel, bringing in a lot more players into our tight-knit community. His advice on how to grow the platform and monetize it for sustainability has also been invaluable.

DMrD

Thanks to DMrD, we were able to make our trading system and economy a lot more robust. He has been able to exploit loopholes that we completely missed (from purchasing boxes to accepting trades), allowing future players to enjoy a more stable Banto experience.

Pluto

As a very popular YouTuber with a loyal base of party game lovers, Pluto is also making significant contributions by creating a Vehicle Box for Banto to enjoy. His art is great, and we can't wait for him to share it with the Bantonian community.

Thank you to all our early supporters who have helped shape Banto into what it is so far! Your contributions, feedback, and dedication have been invaluable to these early days.
